Many teams have a lot of their own controversies, and for Georgia, it has to its players getting arrested for traffic-related violations. During an interview, Memphis head coach Ryan Silverfield took a potshot at Georgia for its players having those kinds of violations.
“We always start off with not our standard, always start out with a negative. And the not our standard is ‘Georgia wide receiver arrested for driving 900 miles per hour over the speed limit.’ That’s a weekly occurrence. So, that’s one we’ll show,” he said.

Silverfield must be auditioning to be the new head coach of the Florida Gators…” one Georgia fan said.
“@grok what are Ryan Silverfield’s accomplishments as Head Coach, and do they compare or come close to Kirby Smart’s accomplishments?” one fan asked Grok AI.
“Hope for his sake we don’t see Memphis-Georgia in the playoffs,” one fan pointed out.
“People act like the county/City in which their team is located doesn’t let the kids off with warnings. Athens-Clarke County don’t let em go. They “Lock em up”,” noted one fan.
“I mean he’s not wrong. Kirby lets those guys do absolutely whatever they want. And get away with it. As long as they’re impact players.” said one Georgia critric.
“Clearly, Ryan is seeking validation that he belongs, but this ain’t it Chief. Nobody knows who you are.” one fan added.

Memphis Still Undefeated So Far Under Ryan Silverfield This Season
With Ryan Silverfield taking potshots at the Georgia Bulldogs, many are questioning his record at Memphis at the moment. As it turns out, the Tigers are still undefeated this season with a 3-0 record.
The Tigers are fresh off a 28-7 victory against Troy, with victories over Chattanooga and Georgia State in their first two games. Their games have been noted for how good their defense is and for putting pressure on their opponents’ quarterbacks.
In addition, Memphis QB Brendon Lewis has been very effective, with one of the highlights against Troy being his leading a touchdown drive that led to a rushing touchdown from Sutton Smith.
