All three of Buffalo’s wins last season came in MAC competition, and Lembo will look to get a leg up on that when the Bulls begin their season against the Lafayette Leopards on Thursday night of Week 1. Anything other than a win at home will be classed as a disaster.
There are other potential wins on the out-of-conference section of the Buffalo 2024 football schedule. A road trip to the Missouri Tigers isn’t one of them, but they could compete against the UConn Huskies, and future MAC opponent UMass is a home game that should be circled as a potential victory.
The MAC component of the Buffalo 2024 football schedule could prove problematic. The Bulls begin conference play in DeKalb, where they’ve beaten the Northern Illinois Huskies just once this millennium. The Eastern Michigan Eagles are always a tough team to face in “The Factory,” while they haven’t beaten the Ohio Bobcats in Athens since 2008.
