Arguably, the biggest storyline after the first round of the NFL Draft surrounds Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders. The former Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year has fallen to the second round after most believed he would be drafted in the first.

Adam Schefter Provides Insight on Shedeur Sanders’ Draft Floor
Nothing is rarely surprising in the NFL Draft, which is why Sanders falling to the second round wasn’t a total shock.
However, ESPN insider Adam Schefter has recently provided some intel on where Sanders could go on Friday night.
“Again, this is not any evidence or any reporting. But I’m just giving you a team like the Seattle Seahawks, the Arizona Cardinals, the Dallas Cowboys.”
Schefter added that these teams haven’t always been linked to Sanders, which is why they could be expected to take a chance on him. They all have veteran quarterbacks who haven’t been able to win the big game in their careers. Perhaps Sanders could give the starters a run for their money.
Later, during the pre-draft coverage on Friday, he also mentioned that the Steelers’ 3rd Round pick at No. 83 could be his projected floor.
Shedeur Sanders is Extremely Talented
Sanders has not fallen due to a lack of talent, which people need to understand. Does he lack a little arm strength? Possibly. Is he the most humble teammate in the world? Probably not. But no prospect is ever perfect.
The Texas native took the world by storm at Colorado, helping to turn the program’s trajectory around.
4,000-yard passers do not grow on trees very often at the college level, which is what Sanders is. He has solid size, his passes are accurate, and he knows how to lead a successful offense down the field in big games.

Those are some of the key fundamentals of great quarterback play, which is why one of the teams listed above will take a chance on him.
By most accounts, he will be the biggest name to watch all night long on Friday because of who he is.
Of course, if Jerry Jones ends up drafting him, that could be a move that is talked about for years and years to come.
