‘No One Is Playing Better’ — Cameron Boozer Rocketing Up Rankings in Senior Season

Cameron Boozer has been so good for so long that there is a tendency to take his consistent domination for granted. As the class of 2025 evolved, players with greater explosive athleticism and exceptional tough shot-making have received a lot of attention as the next big thing to arise.

Cameron Boozer’s Supremacy on the Court

Boozer, a 6’9″ power forward from Christopher Columbus High School in Florida, is making a big splash in his senior season. His outstanding feats have not only confirmed his status as a top recruit but have also resulted in a commitment to the Duke Blue Devils along with his twin brother, Cayden Boozer.

Cameron Boozer recorded 31 points against Perry High School in the Hoophall Classic, shooting an incredible 11 of 15 from the field and a perfect 7 of 7 from the free throw line.

His regular performance has not been overlooked. He was named the Gatorade National Boys Basketball Player of the Year in 2023 and has been a key player for USA Basketball, winning MVP honors at the FIBA Under-17 World Cup in 2024.

Paul Biancardi stated, “No one is playing better than Cameron Boozer in high school basketball. No one.”

Cameron and Cayden Boozer have committed to Duke over the Miami Hurrcianes. When the twins arrive on campus in Durham, they will be following in the footsteps of their father, long-time NBA star Carlos Boozer.

If their anticipated limited college tenure is anything like their stellar high school careers, the Blue Devils will win games at a high level.

Their decision reflects their desire to uphold and expand on their family’s basketball heritage.

As Cameron Boozer prepares to play college basketball, anticipations are high. Analysts endorse his basketball IQ, scoring abilities, and leadership on the court, expecting a successful career at Duke or even in the NBA.

Boozer wanted to showcase his perimeter abilities early in his career, but as he grew older, it became evident that no one could stop him inside. He’s fantastic at generating deep paint touches and using his excellent footwork and soft touch to find baskets inside.
