Does the game tape match the great workouts of various 2025 NFL Draft prospect interior defensive linemen’s scouting combine? Irrespective of position, every year, there are prospects who get more attention at the scouting combine. Their excellent workouts make them a highlight for the NFL shot-callers.
Speaking of which, we have four interior defensive linemen this year who made the combine their own. But what does the game tape say about their great workouts?

Remembering Combine Performances by 2025 DTs: What’s on Film?
As we mentioned, we have four interior defensive linemen this year who made the combine their own. Let’s have a look at them one by one.
Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins
Ingram-Dawkins got the highest overall athleticism score among all the linebackers and defensive linemen who worked out on Day 1 of the combine drills.
He had the second-fastest 40-yard dash along with Harrison-Hunte. Moreover, Ingram-Dawkins recorded a top speed of 20.59 miles per hour on his 40-yard dash and ran a 4.86-second 40-yard dash overall.
The 276-pound defensive lineman did everything in his power to own his scouting combine. Over the four campaigns with the Bulldogs, he never went over more than 536 snaps in a season.
Looking at the tape, it can be safe to say that Tyrion projects himself as a great hybrid lineman who can get it done everywhere from the A-gap to outside the tackles.
CJ West
The 316-pound defensive lineman ran a solid 4.95-second 40-yard dash while recording a 20.25 miles per hour top speed. Looking at his size, West’s 10-yard split of 1.73 seconds was an outstanding feat. Moreover, he was right there with the big guys with his 33-inch vertical jump.
If we are considering interior defensive linemen, West’s 86 athleticism score is just behind Ingram-Dawkins. Given his physical attributes, it is wise to go with West on center or to either shoulder, where he can win the strength battles.
As per the tape, West did his thing against some of the finest opponents in the NCAA.
Ty Robinson
Among the DI class of 2025, Ty had the fastest time on the 40-yard dash with 4.86 seconds. He reached a top speed of 15.56 mph on the four-bag agility drill, which is considered to be the second-fastest among the interior defensive linemen over the last three campaigns.
The last campaign was Robinson’s sixth season with the Cornhuskers. You can pretty much see the athleticism in his quickness to confuse blockers and hop gaps.
For any team that is looking to increase the chaos up front, Robinson is a menace.
Jared Harrison-Hunte
In addition to being in the top three positions in most of the DI drills, he had amazing vertical and broad jumps. His best campaign came with the Mustangs, where he played the biggest role in their 11-3 season.
