Who Are the 2025 WNBA Draft Invitees? Full List of Prospects Attending the Draft

    Hailey Van Lith and Paige Bueckers got invites. Check who else made the list of draft invitees.

    The WNBA draft is on Monday, and the league has announced that 16 players have been invited to attend the draft in person. Along with the WNBA draft invite, the players were invited to the Empire State Building for a lighting ceremony to celebrate the occasion.

    The draft will occur at The Shed at Hudson Yards in New York City. WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert will begin announcing picks of the three-round draft at 7:30 p.m. ET.

    Which Prospects Got the Invite?

    Paige Bueckers, Hailey Van Lith, and 14 other players were invited to the WNBA draft, and here’s what you need to know about them. These players will sit in the venue with their families while they wait for their names to be called.

    National Champion and projected number one overall pick Paige Bueckers headline the list of invites. At the same time, Ajsa Sivka of Slovenia and Dominique Malonga of France are the two international players who got invited.

    The Dallas Wings hold the No. 1 pick following the WNBA draft lottery. The WNBA’s first expansion team in 17 seasons, The Golden State Valkyries will pick fifth, while the Washington Mystics hold three of the top six picks.

    The first round will only have 12 picks, as the Las Vegas Aces had their natural first-round pick rescinded after the WNBA found out they broke league rules concerning player benefits.

    For the second year in a row, fans will be able to buy tickets to attend the draft. The players will walk the WNBA’s iconic “Orange Carpet” before the commissioner calls their names.
