A total of four UConn Huskies alumni have been selected for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, drawing reactions from their fans. On Monday, July 7, UConn Women’s Basketball’s X handle uploaded a graphic showcasing the four players — Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier, New York Liberty stalwart Breanna Stewart, Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers, and Seattle Storm forward Gabby Williams.
All four WNBA standouts are former players of coach Geno Auriemma’s UConn squad, where all of them won at least one national championship during their time in college basketball. Bueckers, Collier, Stewart, and Williams have now brought the Huskies’ pride into the All-Star Game, as they will all be representing their alma mater.

As pointed out by the UConn Huskies faithful on X, Napheesa Collier possesses the rare opportunity to have all of her fellow former Huskies on one team, as she is one of the captains for this year’s WNBA All-Star Game.
Collier finished second in fan voting, just behind Indiana Fever sophomore Caitlin Clark, which determined the two to be the All-Star team captains.
The draft selection for both Collier and Clark’s teams is slated for Tuesday, July 8, on ESPN’s “WNBA Countdown,” as Collier may add Breanna Stewart, Paige Bueckers, and Gabby Williams to her squad.
