Former South Carolina Gamecocks guard and now Atlanta Dream rookie Te-Hina Paopao has garnered plenty of reactions on her recent Instagram recap. On Thursday, Aug. 28, Paopao posted a series of photos from August as a WNBA player, with her former teammates Chloe Kitts, Raven Johnson, and Bree Hall showing their support.
In the upload, Paopao is first seen candidly sipping a tetra pack with her Y2K streetwear-inspired outfit of a camo zip-up hoodie, black cap, black top, sweatpants, and a red backpack. Paopao then shared a couple of in-game photos as a member of the Dream squad, along with a candid photo of her giving a loved one a ride on her shoulders. The post is capped off with Paopao wearing a uniform of the global coffee chain Starbucks.
“2 blessed to be stressed ! 🥰,” Paopao captioned with an emoji.

“I would like an iced white mocha with sweet cream cold foam and EXTRA caramel drizzle 🥰,” incoming senior Chloe Kitts commented with an emoji before recently-signed Golden State Valkyries guard Bree Hall replied, saying, “No ❤️,” with a red-heart emoji.

“Maryland shirt for a tunnel fit 👀 OOOOOOOK 👀,” Hall said in another comment with a pair of emojis.

“❤️❤️❤️❤️ Bootyyyyyy,” fifth-year guard Raven Johnson shared with red-heart emojis.

Current Los Angeles Sparks forward Sania Feagin dropped a plethora of emojis.

Paopao also got love from players of rival programs of South Carolina.
“Bow bow bow,” TCU Horned Frogs senior Maddie Scherr posted.

“Ehhhhhh you’re toughhhhhh,” Villanova Wildcats transferee Kylee Watson wrote.

“Love your life,” Ohio State Buckeyes standout Chance Gray asserted.

Paopao was drafted into the WNBA with the 18th pick in the second round of this year’s draft by coach Karl Smesko’s Atlanta squad. She spent her first three years of college hoops as a member of the Oregon Ducks before concluding her last two seasons of collegiate eligibility as a member of the Gamecocks, winning her lone national championship with them in 2024.
