Paige Bueckers’ Girlfriend Azzi Fudd Reveals Dream Guest On New Podcast ‘Fudd Around And Find Out’

UConn Huskies star Azzi Fudd is recognised for her outstanding play on the basketball court and for her role in helping UConn secure a national championship this past season. She is also known for her relationship with her former teammate and current Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers. While most of what people know about Fudd comes from on and around the basketball court, she is branching out.

On Wednesday, Fudd released the premier episode of her podcast “Fudd Around and Find Out” with her co-host, Ashanti Plummer. On the episode, they discussed various topics, including doing a deep dive on their friendship and why they are launching their podcast. They also got into some interesting topics, including guests they would like to have on their show at some point. Fudd mentioned hoping a former NBA star would come on her podcast.

“My dream guest on the pod is Carmelo Anthony,” Azzi Fudd said (Timestamp 18:00). “He was my favorite player growing up, and I’ve met him a couple of times, but I would love to have him on the pod. I know he has a pod himself, so if he wants to bring me on his pod as well, I’m in.”

Azzi Fudd Continues Her Hard Offseason Work Despite Launching Her New Podcast

While Azzi Fudd had fun on the first episode of her new podcast, that does not mean that she is neglecting her offseason workouts. She is still working out hard as she prepares for the final season of her NCAA career. On Wednesday, the Unrivaled Basketball Instagram account posted a video with several clips of Fudd working out.

    “Azzi stays in the gym.”

This will be an interesting season for Fudd as she will be without her girlfriend, Paige Bueckers. Bueckers has started her WNBA career, and as a result, she will not be Fudd’s teammate for the first time in a long time.

Fudd is entering her fifth college season, having been granted medical redshirt status for her junior season after only playing two games that year because of an injury. Fudd was fully healthy for the first time in a long time last season and will be looking to continue her momentum into 2025-26.
