Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers is in attendance for a hotly contested regular-season game of her counterpart team in another sport. On Thursday, Nov. 27, coach Brian Schottenheimer’s Dallas Cowboys faced off against coach Andy Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs in their Week 13 game of the 2025 NFL season at their home floor, AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
This prompted Bueckers to upload a photo to her Instagram story as she marked her attendance for the intense matchup. It is seen in the photo that Bueckers is presumably in one of the VIP sections of the stadium, as she provides her vantage point of the game. She also included a two-word caption with a couple of emojis to celebrate Thanksgiving.
“Happy Thanksgiving!!,” Bueckers captioned with a blue heart and a praying emoji.

Bueckers is seemingly enjoying her first offseason after a WNBA campaign, as she wrapped up her rookie year in the recently concluded 2025 season. Despite her mighty efforts, former coach Chris Koclanes’ Dallas team was unable to make it into this year’s WNBA playoffs. They finished with a lowly 10-34 overall record to rank dead last in the Western Conference final standings.
Bueckers will be hoping for a better 2026 season, as she has a new head coach in former San Francisco Dons tactician Jose Fernandez, who was co-signed by Bueckers’ former mentor, Geno Auriemma, her college basketball program’s coach at the UConn Huskies. Even with the team’s setback, Bueckers was named the 2025 WNBA Rookie of the Year, along with becoming an All-Star for the first time in July.
