Olivia Miles WNBA Draft Projections: 5 Landing Spots for Notre Dame’s Guard

Olivia Miles has played for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish throughout her college career. As her final season winds down, she is getting set for the 2025 WNBA Draft. Miles is coming off her best season yet with Notre Dame, which happened in her senior year.

She averaged a career-high in points with 16.2 while averaging 5.9 rebounds and 5.8 assists. She had her best year by far from deep, shooting the ball over 40% from beyond the arc. Should she get drafted, which is highly likely, what team would ultimately draft her? Here are five landing spots.

5 WNBA Landing Spots for Notre Dame’s Olivia Miles

    Seattle Storm

First and foremost, should Miles drop down to No. 9 in the WNBA Draft, the Seattle Storm could be the perfect fit for her, especially in their backcourt. After trading Jewell Lloyd, the Storm need to find their guard for the future, and Miles could very well fit that mold.

While the Storm still have the likes of Gabby Williams and Skyler Diggans-Smith, they should undoubtedly add one final player to add to that one-two punch. They certainly need another scorer, and Miles fits that mold better.

    Dallas Wings

We could also see Miles as a part of the Dallas Wings. The Dallas Wings have the No. 1 pick and have the entire field at their disposal. While the Wings are more than likely going to pick Paige Bueckers at No. 1, they could also consider a player like Miles.

This whole season was brutal for the Wings. They finished 9-31 and only have two stars on their team to lean on, Arike Ogunbowale and Satou Sabally. However, they need an immediate upgrade with their talent on the team, and Miles can certainly provide great play on both sides of the ball.

    Los Angeles Sparks

The Los Angeles Sparks could also be in the market for a player like Miles. With the second overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, the Sparks have just about the whole field at their disposal. If Bueckers is selected first, the Sparks could certainly take someone like Miles at No. 2.

Picking Miles would immediately improve the Sparks competing for a playoff spot. With Cameron Brink returning from her torn ACL and a player as impactful as Miles joining their roster, we could see a complete 180. It could be a very fun, dynamic duo in the West, as well.

    Washington Mystics

The Washington Mystics currently sit at the No. 4 and No. 6 picks in the 2025 WNBA Draft. This means that there could be two chances for the Mystics to draft Miles, should Miles still be on the board. Washington finished with a 14-26 record.

Since winning the title in 2019, Washington has either missed the playoffs completely or been a first-round exit every year since. Washington misses its former star player, Elena Delle Donne, and this is something that Miles could very well help them forget.

    Chicago Sky

The Chicago Sky could be the final prime fit for Miles. Pairing Miles with the likes of Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso would be a great scenario for Sky. Chicago also has the No. 3 overall pick in the NBA Draft and could have more players than not at their disposal.

The Sky missed the playoffs this past season. However, the tides could be turned if a player like Miles joins their roster. Pairing Miles with Reece, Cardoso, and even someone like Chennedy Carter could make the Sky a team to watch out for in 2025.
