The 2025-26 college women’s basketball season is underway. With games starting to get underway, the No. 15-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish are set to play Fairleigh Dickinson on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET. This is a non-conference game that is not expected to cause a lot of trouble for Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish are heavy favorites to win this game. It would be a huge upset early in the season if Fairleigh Dickinson is able to overcome the Fighting Irish.
While the Knights have some good players on their roster, they are not in the same tier of team. Notre Dame is expected to compete with the best teams in the nation this season. Conversely, Fairleigh Dickinson is expected to struggle.
