MiLaysia Fulwiley may have already left South Carolina, but her heart remains with South Carolina track and field star JaMeesia Ford. The two are one of the best-known couples in college sports and have remained sweet with one another despite Fulwiley transferring to an SEC rival in LSU.
This is evident as Ford posted her workout video, where the track star hit the weights and worked out her lower body. This caught the attention of the new LSU Tiger, who commented on the video’s editing.

The two were considered South Carolina’s power couple up until Fulwiley entered the transfer window to go to LSU and play for Kim Mulkey.
At South Carolina, the two have collected several big achievements in their respective sports, with Fulwiley winning the national title with the Gamecocks in 2024, while Ford won the 200 meters final during the NCAA Indoor Championships, as well as various races in the national and conference levels.
On their relationship, JaMeesia Ford admitted in an interview with The State that the two of them have an easy time understanding one another because they are both athletes.
“It’s easy for us to understand because we’re both athletes,” she said in the interview. “When we have free time, we make the best of it. Because we don’t have a lot of time with each other. So we just admire those moments.”

MiLaysia Fulwiley was considered one of the biggest names in the 2025 transfer portal, with many getting shocked with her decision to transfer to a rival school after all the success she had with Dawn Staley’s squad. Despite transferring to a different school, however, her girlfriend, JaMeesia Ford, was still very supportive of her.
As Fulwiley announced that she has chosen Kim Mulkey and LSU on Instagram, Ford commented her support and even some LSU Tigers-related emojis, even though she has chosen to stay with South Carolina.
