All You Need to Know About Kiki Iriafen and Her Family

Kiki Iriafen, born on Aug. 26, 2003, grew up in a household where sports weren’t a parental tradition. Her parents, Yemi and Harrison Iriafen immigrated from Nigeria and built careers in home health consulting and agriculture, respectively.

Neither played sports competitively. Yet, all three of their children, Kiki, Shuby, and Oyinkan, have embraced athletics with a passion.

Shuby Iriafen, around 14 years old as of 2025, is the middle child. He’s taken a different route from his sisters by choosing soccer as his stream of sports, and Oyinkan Iriafen, the youngest, at about 11 years old, has shown interest in picking basketball like her big sis.

Kiki’s career has been stellar so far. At Harvard-Westlake, she racked up 2,454 points and 1,655 rebounds, which is one of the best-recorded performances ever by any player catered by that program.

Kiki’s path gives us a glimpse of what might lie ahead for her siblings. She was a five-star recruit out of high school, choosing Stanford over powerhouses like UConn and UCLA. Her college career took off after a breakout junior year in 2023-24. She averaged 19.4 points and 11.0 rebounds per game, earning the Pac-12 Most Improved Player award.

Now, back in her hometown with USC, she’s a key player in the Big Ten. “I’ve always wanted to push myself,” Kiki once said about her drive. “It’s about showing up every day and getting better.” That mindset seems to echo through the family.

The siblings share a tight bond. Kiki has mentioned staying close with Shuby and Oyinkan despite her demanding schedule. Shuby’s soccer drills and Oyinkan’s dribbling practice might not grab headlines yet, but we believe they also have bring a future like their sister.

For now, Shuby and Oyinkan remain out of the public eye. Their youth and Kiki’s prominence keep the focus on her. But their early starts in sports suggest potential. Oyinkan, in particular, might lean on Kiki for guidance as she develops her game. Shuby’s soccer pursuits will add more variety to the family’s athletic mix.
