Indiana junior Yarden Garzon announced her entry to the transfer portal this week. The guard from Israel averaged 14.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.2 assists for the Hoosiers this year, including a career-high 35 points in a 73-70 win at Washington.

Here are five potential transfer portal landing spots for Garzon.

Top Transfer Portal Landing Spots for Yarden Garzon

    Kentucky Wildcats

Garzon entered the portal with a “do not contact” tag, although, as On3’s Talia Goodman reported, she may not know where she’s headed yet.

With seven open scholarship spots, Kentucky and head coach Kenny Brooks reached out to Garzon’s representatives. With junior Saniah Tyler out through the portal, they have a big hole to fill.

    UCLA Bruins

While the Bruins are still dancing and have had no players have hit the portal just yet, Garzon could head west to pair with the returning Lauren Betts in Los Angeles.

The trio of Garzon, Betts, and guard Kiki Rice would make for a lethal trio, with the two established Bruins expected to be taken in the top 3 of the 2026 WNBA Draft.

    USC Trojans

Even before USC’s Elite Eight loss to UConn, Dominique Darius announced her entry to the portal. Putting Garzon alongside JuJu Watkins would make for one of the most dynamic duos in college basketball. It could also take the pressure off Kennedy Smith, allowing her to develop for another year.

    Maryland Terrapins

While Shyanne Sellers gets ready for the WNBA Draft, head coach Brena Frese will look for a replacement to play alongside the talented Kaylene Smikle.

Garzon could slot right into the frontcourt and help Maryland get past the Elite Eight for the first time since 2015.

    Indiana Hoosiers

It could all just be a sneaky play for the All-Big Ten Second Team selection. Garzon led the team in points and hit over 40% beyond the arc. In the NIL era, a play to negotiate more money from her original team could certainly be her final destination.
