The Cavinder twins have been out shopping this weekend. Through her Instagram story, the twins shared a picture of themselves visiting a Cartier store. The picture shows the pair in front of a pair of Cartier boxes while wearing watches from the signature brand.
The twins have fully transformed into influencers following their college basketball careers. 2024-25 was their last year of college basketball, which they spent with the Miami Hurricanes. Their final campaign came a year after they had initially retired from college basketball in 2023, citing disillusionment with the lives of student athletes.
Haley Cavinder was the first to attempt a college basketball return, transferring to TCU. The decision to move to a Texas school made sense because she is the fiancée of Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson.
However, when her sister Hanna decided to come back for a final season in 2024-25, both twins returned to the Miami Hurricanes. Haley managed to get Second Team All-ACC honors in 2025.
Their best playing years were undoubtedly in their first school, Fresno State. Hanna was twice selected for the All-Mountain West Team and was also a Mountain West All-Freshman Team selection. Haley was the Mountain West Freshman of the Year in 2020, the Mountain West Player of the Year in 2021, and a three-time All-Mountain West Team selection. She was also a Mountain West All-Freshman Team selection in her first season.
Cavinder Twins’ partnership with Under Armour and DICK’S Sporting Goods
The Cavinder twins are the face of Under Armour and Dick’s Sporting Goods’ new campaign, ‘How To Be An NIL Influencer in 7 Easy Steps’.
Lauren Simmons, Under Armour’s art director, said the following about the inspiration for the campaign at the time of release:
“We were inspired by Haley and Hanna’s relentless drive and the empire they’ve built through grit and vision. As pioneers in the NIL space, they’ve redefined what’s possible for women in collegiate sports,” said Lauren Simmons, art director for North America at Under Armour. “In today’s game, your personal brand is as important as your performance, and we wanted to spotlight the real work behind the headlines.”
The campaign’s objective is to celebrate the Cavinder twins as pioneers of the NIL revolution in college sports, and to push back against criticism of their content as “empty”. The idea is to present them as true pioneering entrepreneurs in the space of college athletics.
