Caitlin Clark has found some time to relax having suffered an injury once more. In bed, the former Iowa Hawkeyes and current Indiana Fever star shared an image of herself watching “Happy Gilmore 2” on Netflix, which happens to be the big screen debut of her friend, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Iowa native also took the opportunity to promote electronics shop Best Buy, being a Best Buy partner, as she reminded people in her Instagram story.
The Adam Sandler movie, which is a sequel to the 90s classic, features NFL star Travis Kelce. Kelce is dating Taylor Swift, who had been seen hanging out with Caitlin Clark at Chiefs games, with Clark being a Chiefs fan herself.
As of the moment, the Indiana Fever star is resting her body after injuring her right groin. Clark has had an injury-riddled season so far, injuring herself earlier in the season before coming back only to injure herself ahead of the WNBA All-Star Game, which she was supposed to play in as the team captain of Team Clark. She was also supposed to have that highly anticipated showdown against Sabrina Ionescu during the Three-Point Contest.
There were scares that Clark injured herself further as she appeared to have reaggravated her injured right groin. However, a new examination showed that she was ok and did not injure herself any further. She would have missed even more games had her injury gotten worse.
Caitlin Clark Reveals Her Favorite Disney Movie
Speaking of Caitlin Clark and movies, the Indiana Fever star revealed that she is quite the movie buff herself during a recent interview with Glamour. There, she shared that she loves watching her favorite movies whenever she wants to relax. She loves watching one movie in particular, saying that she actually knows every line of dialogue in it, and it is a Disney movie that stars Lindsey Lohan.
“The other day I watched ‘The Parent Trap’, which literally never gets old, even though I know every single word in it,” Caitlin Clark said in the interview.
Clark admitted that she has watched the movie countless times and this was the reason she ended up memorizing all of the film’s lines. For now, she is still on the sidelines and is forced to rest up else she might reaggravate her injury. This means that she has plenty of time to watch “The Parent Trap” again.
