    Bueckers currently looks certain to follow in Caitlin Clark’s footsteps as the Number one overall pick following her performance in the tournament, averaging 24.8 points throughout Connecticut’s route to the Final.

    According to the NIL Store, Bueckers was the top-selling female athlete across the entire country in March, with her fandom only set to grow as the WNBA Draft gets closer.

    Paige Bueckers Talks NIL Deals And WNBA Draft

    During her ESPY speech, Bueckers explained exactly how she managed her NIL and Sponsorship Deals and how she wanted to be remembered.

    “NIL is about building your brand, image and wealth,” Bueckers said. “But I want more of my legacy in the NIL space to be about what did she share with others? How did you do? She gave back to people who’ve given so much back to her.”

    Bueckers also appeared on the Today Show, where she discussed what potentially being the Number one overall pick meant to her.

    “I’m just excited for the next step in the journey, wherever that is, whatever that looks like,” Bueckers said. “Just to be able to play in the WNBA, it’s a dream come true. I was just a little girl aspiring to be in the league. The Minnesota Lynx dynasty was everything for me, so to grow up watching Maya Moore, Lindsay Whalen and the rest of that dynasty and to be able to share that experience and be a part of that is surreal to say.”
