Paige Bueckers, Sarah Strong and More Stars Hype Up UConn’s KK Arnold Over Thrilling Utah Win Dump

UConn Huskies standout KK Arnold‘s most recent social media post has garnered several reactions from across the women’s college basketball world, especially from her teammates. On Sunday, Nov. 23, Arnold and the rest of coach Geno Auriemma’s 2025-26 Huskies took on coach Gavin Peterson’s Utah Utes on their home floor, the Mohegan Sun Arena in Hartford, Connecticut.

Following the game, Arnold uploaded a carousel post to her Instagram account to commemorate the Huskies’ sixth game of national title defense. In the post, Arnold’s back is first seen as she scouts the scene during the game’s introductions. The next snaps show Arnold in different poses and reactions throughout the matchup, which includes photos with her fellow Huskies in action shots.

    “🙂‍↔️,” Arnold captioned.

Several of Arnold’s former and current teammates from the Huskies program dropped their supportive reactions in the comments section of the Instagram post to hype her up. These included the likes of former UConn star Paige Bueckers, who was the top pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, and young sensation Sarah Strong.

“📸 😍,” now Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers wrote with two emojis.

Arnold, who is in her third year of collegiate hoops with coach Geno Auriemma’s UConn program, was a part of last year’s 2024-25 roster that won it all. Arnold and company won their team its 12th national title, which is the most for any squad in women’s college basketball. So far through six games as a veteran, Arnold has averaged 7.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.3 steals in around 27.5 minutes per contest.

The 2025-26 UConn Huskies Are Unbeaten Through Their First Six Games

Perhaps the reason behind KK Arnold deciding to post on Instagram after the home game against the Utah Utes is that UConn remained undefeated in the 2025-26 campaign.

They trounced the Utah Utes by 52 points, 93-41, and are aiming to maintain their winning ways on Sunday, Nov. 30, against the Xavier Musketeers.
