IN PICS: Bree Hall Stuns in Yellow Bikini as Dawn Staley’s Former South Carolina Star Enjoys Ocean Views

She may have been waived by the Golden State Valkyries already, but former South Carolina Gamecock Bree Hall is not letting that stop her. Now that she is a free agent, the No. 20 overall pick from the 2025 WNBA draft took this moment to take the time off and travel to Jamaica.

Hall was spotted enjoying the Caribbean sun and waves and posted about her “sweet life” in Jamaica while sporting a yellow two-piece bikini.

Hall, who won two NCAA championships under Dawn Staley at South Carolina, was drafted No. 20 by the Indiana Fever earlier this year, though the team later waived her in May. She was soon picked up by the Golden State Valkyries last June and played her first game with them, only to be waived again later that month.

Bree Hall remains a free agent for now, giving her some time to refresh herself with a vacation. She was signed by the Valkyries last June because several players went home to Europe for the 2025 EuroBasket, and was later released once they came back.

Hall was a key bench player for South Carolina in her early years but later became a role player in the starting lineup starting her junior year, when Staley led the Gamecocks to the national title after beating Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes in the final.

That season, she averaged 9.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game for the championship-winning squad.

Bree Hall Played Well as Role Player Before Getting Cut by 2 WNBA Teams

After being picked by Indiana during the draft, Bree Hall was given the chance to prove herself as she played against the Brazilian national team during a preseason tune-up game.

Despite this performance, one of South Carolina’s most clutch shooters known as “Big Shot Breezy” was waived. Currently, the Fever are facing injury-related roster issues and are playing without a point guard, as several players, including Caitlin Clark, are injured.

As for her time with the Golden State Valkyries, Hall actually played in two games, including one where she was visited by Dawn Staley. However, in those games, Hall only had a combined three points and as many rebounds before the Valkyries waived her once again.
