What Is Angel Reese’s Role In A House of Dynamite?
Angel Reese, who is signed to a four-year, $324,383 contract with the Sky, will star alongside Idris Elba, who portrays the President of the United States, as well as Rebecca Ferguson and Anthony Ramos.
Reese’s cameo appearance came during a scene when the President receives a briefing and his next agenda item is listed as the “Angel Reese” thing. He arrives at a basketball court, where Reese, alongside a group of girls, is shooting hoops. They exchange dialogue about the role of sports in his life before he’s summoned away by an evolving crisis.
Apart from taking the WNBA court by storm, Reese has expanded her footfalls in the fashion and entertainment industries. Over the last two years since being drafted seventh overall by the Sky in the 2024 WNBA draft, she has appeared at Met Gala and various fashion events of the top magazines.
Reese used to be one of the top-earning female college athletes when she was playing college basketball at the LSU Tigers. She won the national championship in 2023, beating fierce rival Caitlin Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes in the finals.
As far as the WNBA is concerned, while Reese is having a fine season, the state of her team is not good. With only a handful of games remaining, the Sky find themselves outside of playoff contention with a 9-30 record and 12th in the WNBA standings.
