Caitlin Clark saw a meteoric rise in her fame and success. After taking college basketball by storm and breaking several records, Clark’s WNBA career has been nothing short of brilliant.
Clark has always been a Swiftie and has made her fandom for Taylor Swift very public. They are even good friends now and have made multiple public appearances. Especially when Taylor Swift’s fiance Travis Kelce plays, the two have shown up together to cheer for the Kansas City Chiefs.
There was another such instance when Clark made an appearance at a Chiefs game Sunday and linked up with Taylor Swift. Analyst Robin Lundberg reacted to the most recent link up.

“Taylor Swift, Caitlin Clark in the Chief suite again. It’s kind of a repeat that happened last season, but you know, there is a connection there now between Taylor Swift and Caitlin Clark. And it’s a good thing that the WNBA platform has allowed Caitlin Clark to become friends with Taylor Swift,” Robin said.
Then analyst compared the lives of the hooper and the showgirl:
“And that goes to show you just how transcendent Caitlin Clark really is when it comes to crossing over in pop culture and everything else, right? This was the broadcast moment that was seen and talked about and you could see Taylor and they’re at the Chiefs game obviously who then win.”
He talked about how CC stayed loyal to Chiefs and did not wear a Colts jersey. He also mentioned how Travis Kelce rocked Caitlin Clark’s merchandize in one of his podcast episodes.
Caitlin Clark’s 2024-25 season
Clark continued her good form from her rookie season. She won Rookie of the Year in 2024 and led Fever in points, assists and other stats. In 2025 Clark, averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.8 assists. She put the Fever in commanding positions multiple times during the season.

Unfortunately, Caitlin Clark got injured mid-season. And one injury led to another and she ended up missing most of the 2025 WNBA season. In July, she suffered an injury in her right groin. She also suffered a bone bruise in her ankle during the recovery, which eventually ruled her out of the WNBA playoffs.
The Fever showed their resilience despite missing majority of their star players. They reached the semi-finals only to lose against the WNBA Champions A’ja Wilson and the Aces.
