LSU will have to play this weekend without linebacker Whit Weeks, who was ruled out for the encounter against Vanderbilt. The No. 10 Tigers are playing the No. 17 Vanderbilt Commodores this Saturday at noon at FirstBank Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. Both teams come with a record of 5-1 and are harboring dreams of a College Football Playoff participation at the end of the regular season.

Other fans were worried about how LSU could look this weekend without Weeks in the starting lineup against Vanderbilt.
“Tough blow for LSU. They could need him today,” lamented someone else

Is something else going on with Weeks?
“Will he still puke during the game just to stay in rhythm?,” asked one fan regarding a puking incident in which Whit Weeks was front and center

Whit Weeks is battling an ankle bone bruise, which has had him limited in practice over the last week. This is not his first injury problem with one of his ankles, having suffered a dislocated ankle and a fractured tibia in 2024. He underwent surgery in January to correct the damage.
