Oklahoma previously beat Alabama at Tuscaloosa, with the Crimson Tide going in as underdogs in this contest. As Ty Simpson struggled, fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to poke some fun at the QB1.

“I have Oklahoma beating Bama once again. The story of the Sooners is their defense. If Mateer plays good, they could potentially win by two scores. I don’t trust Alabama’s run game at all and I think that Oklahoma’s defense will put Ty Simpson in an uncomfortable position,” one Sooners supporter noted.

Ty Simpson, who struggled in the previous game against the Sooners, was again struggling and has not yet figured out that defense.
