What Happened To Lindsey Vonn’s Dog?
According to Lindsey Vonn’s Instagram post, Leo, who survived lymphoma a year and a half ago, was diagnosed with lung cancer the same day Vonn crashed in the downhill event in Milano-Cortina.
The following day, when Vonn went for her surgery, she said her goodbyes to Leo. She mentioned the role played by Leo in her life since her second ACL surgery.
“My boy has been with me since my second ACL injury, when I needed him most,” she wrote. “He held me on the sofa as I watched the Sochi Olympics. He lifted me up when I was down. He layed by me, and cuddle me, always making me feel safe and loved. We have been through so much together in 13 years.”
Finally, she is happy knowing that her Leo is no longer in pain and is up in heaven with “Lucy and Bear and my mom and grandparents.” Her post included her playful moments with Leo as the Olympian bid her farewell to her dog.
