While in the middle of the Australian Open, Coco Gauff’s social media feed popped with the latest post from decorated American gymnast Simone Biles. Gauff, known for her fashion game, shared her reaction to Biles’ designer outfit.
On Thursday, Biles posted a black and white photo of herself and tagged hairstylist Justin Revenge and makeup artist Deja Blackwell. She’s wearing a black, long-sleeve, cropped turtleneck and high-waisted black jeans. Moreover, her hair is styled sleek and smooth.
“HER,” Biles captioned the post.
Under the comments section, Coco Gauff, who advanced to the third round of the Australian Open, shared her amazement over the outfit of Biles, reacting:
“WOW”

Coco Gauff Considers Simone Biles Her Role Model
Simone Biles has accomplished a lot in her gymnastics career. She has won 11 Olympic medals, including seven golds, and 30 World Championship medals, including 23 golds. She has become an inspiration to several American athletes, be it from any form of sports, including two-time Grand Slam champion Coco Gauff.
Biles attended Gauff’s tough second-round match against Donna Vekić at Arthur Ashe Stadium in the 2025 US Open. After Gauff won, the two met backstage and shared a heartfelt exchange. In her post-match interview, the American tennis star called Biles her role model, given the gymnast’s openness regarding mental health struggles and her strong bounce-back performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
“I saw her … she helped me pull it out,” Gauff said. “If she can go on a six-inch beam with all the pressures of the world, then I can hit the ball … it brought me a little bit of calm … she’s an inspiration, surely.”
“Just knowing her story … with all the things she went through mentally,” Gauff added, “helped me.”
Biles also showed respect to Gauff by saying she enjoyed watching her.
“She’s incredible, amazing,” Biles said. “It’s just such a privilege to watch her on home soil and watch ‘Black girl magic.’”
Both American athletes, who have inspired a lot of female aspiring sports stars, shared mutual respect for each other.
