Now former Michigan Wolverines coach Sherrone Moore‘s ongoing case of accusations has become more complicated with the reports of an illicit affair. It is being speculated by the whole college football world, from fans to onlookers, that the University of Michigan staffer that Moore had an inappropriate relationship with is Paige Shiver.
If this is the case, then this means that Moore was having an affair with Paige Shiver, who happens to be the daughter of Chicago Bears executive scout Jeff Shiver. Jeff Shiver has long been serving as coach Ben Johnson’s Chicago Bears since the 80s, enjoying a decades-long tenure with a long-standing NFL franchise. Currently, the Bears have a record of 9-4 and are the second seed in the NFC North.
With this information in mind, Moore’s relationship with Paige Shiver may be taking a drastic turn, given that her own father has ties with an esteemed NFL franchise. Safe to say, there may be no more possible future for Moore in the sport of football now that he is dismissed from his duties with the Wolverines program and the school is actively pursuing voiding the buyout of his contract, given the case.

Paige Shiver, as seen in her LinkedIn page before she reportedly deleted it, was the executive assistant to Moore during the latter’s time at the helm of the Michigan program throughout the 2025 season. Furthermore, Shiver was also seen attending several Wolverines games throughout the year, evidenced by her posts in her now-deactivated or made-private social media pages.
These connections will likely be used in the legal matters of handling the ongoing scandal that has caught the attention of the collegiate football landscape.

Heading into the 2025 season, Sherrone Moore assumed the role of head coach of the Michigan Wolverines after his brief period as the interim one, ever since long-time coach Jim Harbaugh made the jump to the NFL to coach the Los Angeles Chargers. It was then also reported by The Economic Times that Paige Shiver received a 55.11% increase in her annual salary during this campaign, triggering more connections of her allegations with Moore.
