Patrick Mahomes enters Thanksgiving week balancing family time with preparations for one of the most-watched games of the season. Before the Kansas City Chiefs step into their holiday matchup, his wife, Brittany, shared a warm set of family photos celebrating the day.
The pictures feature Mahomes, Brittany, and their three children posing outdoors against a backdrop of bright autumn leaves. Brittany held their youngest daughter while Mahomes stood beside their other two kids, each of them dressed in coordinated outfits that matched the autumn scenery.
Brittany wore a dark sweater dress paired with tall brown boots, and Mahomes opted for a simple burgundy shirt with dark pants. The kids added splashes of color with their red, plaid, and navy clothing, creating a family portrait that feels seasonal.
In her caption, Brittany wished everyone a “Happy Thanksgiving.”
Mahomes’ mother, Randi, quickly chimed in with an emotional comment. She wrote that the photo touched her heart and expressed how deeply she loves the whole family.
“My heart!! I love y’all so much,” she wrote.
Even while embracing the holiday mood, Mahomes reflected on what Thanksgiving football means to him. He said he thinks about John Madden, the traditions tied to the holiday games, and the turducken legacy that became part of NFL lore.
“I’m thinking of the turducken man, John Madden, that to me is the coolest thing. Obviously, a legend of the game… to be able to be a part of that, I think that would be a special moment,” Mahomes said in a press conference.

In addition to aiming for a win, Mahomes has something else on his mind as well.
Is Patrick Mahomes Playing Tonight?
Mahomes is on track to play in tonight’s Thanksgiving showdown against the Dallas Cowboys. He has no injury concerns and has been fully active in practice and media sessions throughout the week.
The Chiefs will rely heavily on him as they continue pushing for stronger playoff positioning in a crowded AFC race. Most predictions lean slightly toward Kansas City. Analysts point to Mahomes’ proven ability to thrive in high-pressure, nationally televised games and his success against defensive schemes that Dallas frequently uses.
If the Chiefs protect him early and maintain rhythm, the matchup tilts in their favor. Still, the Cowboys’ defense can shift momentum quickly if they generate pressure or force turnovers. Everything indicates that Mahomes will take the field tonight ready to lead Kansas City through one of the biggest stages of the regular season.
