“Needs To Lose His Job”: Jets Fans Call for Aaron Glenn’s Firing After Embarrassing Loss vs. Patriots

Aaron Glenn’s New York Jets played their last home game of the season today. No one expected much from the Jets when the season started, but what they have delivered is even below the lowest expectation.

They lost 10-42 against the New England Patriots, marking their 13th loss of the season. This has been their sixth consecutive season with double-digit losses. The Jets have one more game left against the Bills, and the best they can do is end this humiliating season with a win.

The Jets found a new leader in Glenn this season, but that didn’t help change the outcome at all. Now, despite this being his first season, fans have no patience left in them to allow Glenn another run with the team.

“In all seriousness, Aaron Glenn needs to lose his job. He is totally ill prepared to be a head coach. This team week after week is unprepared and doesn’t even care. Tanking is one thing, but quitting is another. They’ve flat out quit,” a fan WROTE.

“I hope Aaron glenn is giving Justin fields his own paycheck this year….” a fan wrote.

“Please fire Aaron Glenn soon as the clock hits zero next week,” a fan wrote.

“Gotta sign Breece…..That should be top priority for the Jets… Number 2 priority is to fire Aaron Glenn,” a fan wrote.

“I’m not saying you definitely fire Aaron Glenn, but if the Jets don’t at least consider it, they’re more lost than I thought. (That’s saying a lot),” a fan wrote.

The Jets fans are demanding immediate change. Even if it doesn’t provide instant results, they want to see someone who is willing to try to win games and bring this franchise back on track.

Aaron Glenn is Asking for Patience That the Jets Fans Don’t Have

The outrage from fans doesn’t just disappear into a void. It reaches people, especially those who are responsible for the outrage. So, with the fans constantly demanding a change in approach, the message reached Glenn as well.

On Monday, during a press conference, Glenn stated that he has a plan, the organization has a plan, and it will take some time before they can effectively implement it.

“For the fans, listen, it’s going to be a tough road,” he told reporters on a video call. “We knew that, but, man, the thing is, we know exactly what we’re doing. We have a plan. Just don’t let go of the rope, I would say that.”

Considering how terrible this season has been, it’s tough to even imagine that fans would be willing to listen to him right now.
