Jared Goff continues to show why he’s considered one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL today. The Detroit Lions star has been in strong form this season, leading the team’s offense with precision. But away from the field, Goff recently took on a very different role, trading his helmet for a chef’s hat.
The Lions quarterback fully embraced the Halloween spirit this year, attending a festive celebration with his wife, Christen Harper, where the couple turned heads with their creative costumes. Goff dressed up as a chef while Christen and their daughter joined in the fun with a “Ratatouille” theme.
The couple attended a private Lions Halloween bash hosted by Amon-Ra St. Brown’s girlfriend and Taylor Decker’s wife, which brought together several Lions players and their partners for a night of lighthearted fun.

The event, titled “Night of Terror: Cirque Du Lions,” featured extravagant costumes and themed decorations. Christen shared several moments from the evening on her Instagram story, posting photos and videos of the two enjoying the celebration.

One clip showed Goff juggling three balls with a spatula in his mouth, playing up his role as the chef for the night.
Back on the field, Goff has been one of the driving forces behind Detroit’s impressive 2025 campaign. The Lions have started the season strong with a 5–2 record, fueled by Goff’s dominant run.
Goff has thrown for over 1,600 yards with 15 touchdowns and just 3 interceptions, maintaining one of the league’s highest completion percentages. The Lions offense has been balanced, efficient, and difficult to stop, giving Detroit real hope of making another deep playoff run.
Jared Goff’s Fun Halloween Reveal on Manningcast
Goff brought some Halloween spirit to the Manningcast when he joined Peyton and Eli Manning during the Monday Night Football matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Washington Commanders.
Lions quarterback shared his creative plans for this year’s Halloween celebrations, revealing that he would be dressing up as a chef while his wife, Christen, and their newborn daughter would complete the look with a “Ratatouille” theme.
“I’m gonna be a chef this year and my brand new daughter is a mouse like Ratatouille,” he said. “So she’s up in my hat helping me cook. Then my wife, Christen, is also gonna be a mouse for the Halloween party. Baby won’t be there, so it’ll work just as well.”

Goff also took a lighthearted trip down memory lane, recalling how his costume creativity started when he was a kid. He once dressed up as Peyton Manning for a school project that required students to portray a “historical figure.”
At the time, Goff considered Manning one of his heroes, choosing to represent him with full football gear, pads, and a jersey.
