Drake London’s season has run the gamut. From an explosive showing most weeks between the end of September and mid-November to suffering a month-long knee injury, London has kept Atlanta Falcons fans on their toes, as well as fantasy football managers.
With the championship on the line, now would be a great time for fantasy managers to get their star back. However, after missing a month, the receiver is logically as close as he has been. Is it enough to start in Week 16? Here’s a look at what you need to know about the receiver’s situation.
Drake London Injury Update
Drake London has been working through a knee injury that has sidelined him since mid-November. The receiver failed to log a single limited or full practice in Week 15 and missed the team’s contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
London logged two limited practices in Week 16 on Wednesday and Thursday of Week 16 before missing Friday’s practice altogether. Things were looking grim for Week 16, but an Adam Schefter update changed everything.
Will Drake London Play Week 16?
In a Saturday post on X by NFL insider Adam Schefter, the insider reported that London had miraculously reversed the trend and would play against the Arizona Cardinals. The official injury report listed the receiver as questionable, but Schefter’s insider information indicates otherwise.
Falcons WR Drake London, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a knee injury that has sidelined him since Week 12, is expected to play vs. the Cardinals, per source.

As such, expect London to get on the field at some point in a game with no team stakes in a lost season.
Should I Start Drake London or Chris Olave This Week
The question boils down to figuring out the motivation for Drake London. With nothing on the line, the receiver seemingly only risks hurting himself again and risking his ability to participate in 2026.
However, something is on the line for London: money. According to Spotrac, London is entering the final year of his deal in 2026. As such, he has every reason to pile up as much production as possible to win over his general manager to give the biggest deal possible.
As such, expect London to put in 100% effort. However, Raheem Morris might pull him at the first sign of trouble. As such, going with Chris Olave is the safer play. Unless you are in a desperate situation needing more than Olave has produced in recent weeks, go with the Saints receiver.
Facing the New York Jets’ depleted defense, Olave should be more than productive.
