‘I Hate This Guy’: Fans Sigh Over Jaguars Rookie Travis Hunter’s Bizarre Christmas Dance Amid Season Ending Knee Injury

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter shared a video on Christmas that has fans worrying, given the two-way star’s season-ending knee injury. Earlier this season, during a practice in October, Hunter suffered a non-contact knee injury, requiring him to undergo surgery and be ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Despite the injury, Hunter’s latest video shows that he might have already recovered or at least is not giving a lot of concern for his damaged knee.

In the video uploaded on Christmas, Hunter is dressed up like an elf and is also performing dance moves that involve bending both knees. Dov Kleiman shared that video on his X account:

This led to a flurry of fans expressing concern about Hunter’s current state of injury.

“But was limping and using crutches to get into the stadium in Denver 🤔” one fan wrote.

“Looks healthy enough to play!” one fan added.

“Ive seen him more off the field than on. Never a good sign,” one fan commented.

“Come on Dov, he is not our best player…yet,” one fan wrote.

“F*ck I hate this guy,” one fan wrote.

“Was @TravisHunterJr trying to look like a douche bag, or did he think he looked cool?” one fan asked.

“Best player no. He’s a bust and corny as s*it,” one fan wrote.

Latest on Travis Hunter’s Season-Ending Knee Injury

After picking up the injury, Travis Hunter was taken for scans, and it showed that he will require season-ending knee surgery to repair a torn lateral collateral ligament (LCL) in his right knee.

Afterwards, Hunter underwent successful surgery to repair the torn LCL in his right knee, and the Jaguars confirmed no additional damage was found in the knee. It will take around six months before he can be ready for full football activities.

In a recent footage before Christmas, Hunter was on crutches with his knee in a brace as part of his rehab. In the meantime, the wide receiver/cornerback has downplayed the severity of the injury.

“This ain’t nothing to me. I’m bout to be running a 40 yd dash by tomorrow,” he said Tuesday.

Before the injury, Hunter caught 28 receptions for 298 yards and one touchdown, along with 15 tackles and three pass breakups on defense.
