Former Michigan water polo star Grace Harbaugh, daughter of LA Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh. still loves the water, even though she has long left the sport. With winter fast approaching and the air growing colder, Grace often posts about going on the beach and enjoying the cool waves, even going on a “sunset dip.”

Her father, Jim Harbaugh, used to be the football coach at her alma mater, even winning a national championship there, though that title win does have an asterisk thanks to the infamous Michigan sign stealing scandal.
That being said, the younger Harbaugh did shine as a water polo star, with 26 total points across the four seasons that she has played with the Wolverines, though she excelled in defense, as she had 13 steals throughout her career, 10 of which came during her senior year. After leaving the school, Grace has been a common sight at Chargers games, cheering her father’s team on.
Her social media account is filled with posts about her taking a trip and swimming. She still loves to swim, even with her water polo days behind her, as she posts trips all over the country where she often takes a dip in the water and swims.

These days, Grace is more of a social media star on Instagram and TikTok, with thousands of followers online. In 2022, while she was still a student at the University of Michigan, with her father still being the football head coach there, she regularly posted glimpses into his daily life on TikTok.
Her most viral moment came in June 2022, when she posted a video called ““Airport Jim: activated,” where he was seen going to the airport while still wearing a Michigan tracksuit. It happened during an 11-hour layover in the airport, with the current LA Chargers coach seen rapping the lyrics of Eminem’s “Lose Yourself.”
“I had no idea that it would go viral. Before posting these videos I had about 100 followers. When I drove over to my family’s house the day of the trip and saw him on the lawn mower cutting grass as we had to leave, I knew I had to at least take a video for the rest of the family and my friends who know what he’s like,” she said.
She still shows a lot of support for Michigan, though, often consoling fans after tough losses and cheering the Wolverines on across various sports.
