The playoffs are here, and whether your team is ready or not, it is officially all or nothing mode for fantasy owners. A win keeps your team in the race to chase a championship. A loss, and there is no more setting lineups or picking up players for an entire year. Let’s make sure no one is going to have to wait that long to play fantasy football.
Start ‘Em
Jayden Higgins, Texans
Higgins has been an under-the-radar receiver for the last few weeks, and this week should be his time. The Texans take on the Cardinals in what should be an easy enough matchup. The Cardinals get exposed through the air daily; don’t expect the Texans not to do the same.
Harold Fannin Jr, Browns
Ever since Shedeur Sanders has taken over, Fannin has clearly been one of his favorite targets. The young tight end is definitely a sleeper this week and also gets the Bears. Chicago has allowed plenty to tight ends this year. It should be a great Sunday for Fannin.
TreVeyon Henderson, Patriots
Henderson is less of a sleeper and more of a guy you should be starting this week. He takes on the Bills, who have allowed plenty to running backs. Although they did well against Chase Brown last week, it should be a regression week.
Sit ‘Em
Jacoby Brissett, Cardinals
This could honestly go for the Cardinals’ offense, to be fair. The Texans’ defense is suffocating, and it’s just hard to see them relenting any time soon at all.
Omarion Hampton, Chargers
Hampton has gotten back to health, but this is probably not going to be the week to start him. The Chiefs’ front seven is playing great right now, and Kimani Vidal clearly still has a role in this offense. Just wait it out on Hampton.
Breece Hall, Jets
This is at the bottom of the list because it’s going to be hard to sit Hall. The Jets’ offense is just hard to ignore, and they play the Jags. Jacksonville has been in the top 5 against RBs this year. Without a QB, Hall can stay on the bench this week if there are other options available.
Bottom Line
Fannin Jr. and Higgins should be sleepers that are must-starts this week. With that being noted, this is the playoffs. The decisions that make your lineup are what could end up breaking all the previous weeks. With that in mind, always make the smarter play over the gut play. Good luck.
