D’Andre Swift Injury Update: What Fantasy Owners Need to Know About Bears RB Status Ahead of Week 16

It looks like the Chicago Bears will have D’Andre Swift in action this weekend when the Chicago Bears take on their biggest rivals, the Green Bay Packers, on Saturday at Soldier Field. While the player has missed only one game this season, in Week 9, a recurring groin injury has kept him limited at times.

He was again limited in practice this week due to the recurrence of his groin injury. This raised concerns that he might miss the game, but the latest report by ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler suggests that the player will be able to suit up for the rivalry encounter.

“Bears RB D’Andre Swift (questionable, groin) is expected to play today vs. Green Bay, per source. With 935 yards, Swift is closing in on his second career 1,000-yard season,” wrote Fowler on X.

    What Happened to D’Andre Swift?

Swift has suffered several injuries this season. First came a quad injury in Week 3, which limited him in practice. Since Week 4, he has been suffering from a hip injury, due to which he has appeared inconsistently throughout the season in injury reports. For Week 7, he was reported with a groin injury and played through it for two weeks, but missed the Week 9 game.

None of the injuries has directly taken him off the field during a game, and they usually become public during the week in the injury reports.

    Will D’Andre Swift Play Today?

According to the latest reports by ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, he will play this Saturday against the Packers at Soldier Field. A recurrence of his groin injury had some fans worried that he would miss the game, as it had him limited in practice this weekend, but those fears seem to have dissipated.

    D’Andre Swift Fantasy Outlook

If you have D’Andre Swift, you can play him. It’s all but confirmed that he will suit up this Saturday night, and he has so far proven that injuries aren’t keeping him from performing for the Bears this season. With 935 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, he is a highly productive asset for any fantasy player.
