According to Jones, the receivers should be back in two weeks. ‘Underdog NFL’ relayed the update on X.

CeeDee Lamb Injury: What Happened?
Playing against the Chicago Bears in Week 3, CeeDee Lamb suffered a high ankle sprain after a tackle by Bears’ Noah Sewell in the first quarter of a 31-14 loss. After this, the wide receiver has missed practices and the games as well. According to ESPN, he was expected not to return for at least 3-4 weeks. At the time, Stephen Jones said:
“We’re looking at that. We’ll watch it a few more days. We don’t have to decide right now. That’s a setback for us. Lamb, of course, is a real serious loss for us.”
Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer also expressed confidence that the wide receiver will return soon, saying:
“He’ll miss some time, but CeeDee is a guy who heals quickly, and he will do everything in his power to get back.”
The Cowboys’ official injury report has listed him as out for the last two weeks. He will continue to remain out for this week’s game against the Carolina Panthers.
Lamb had a strong start to the season, recording over 100 yards in the first two games. After catching seven passes for 110 yards in Week 1 vs the Eagles, the receiver hauled in nine passes for 112 yards in Week 2 against the New York Giants.
KaVontae Turpin’s Injury: What Happened?
KaVontae Turpin sustained a foot injury (sprain) during the Cowboys’ Week 4 game against the Green Bay Packers. The wide receiver has been listed out. The official injury report has him under the “expected to miss time” designation.
So far this season, Turpin has caught 11 passes for 159 receiving yards, including one touchdown. On Special Teams, he has 10 kickoff returns for a total of 230 yards (averaging 23.0 yards per return) and three punt returns for 30 yards.
In March, he signed a three-year, $18 million extension with the Cowboys following a breakout year in 2024, which saw him catch 31 receptions for 420 yards and two receiving touchdowns.
