Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix will be playing this Christmas against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. While the quarterback is sweating it out in practice sessions, his wife, Izzy, offered an insight to her followers into how she spent her Christmas Eve.
Izzy posted an Instagram story from The Heights Church in Denver, where she is rejoicing and singing several Christmas choruses and tunes. Next up, she went to Denver Botanic Gardens, where she captured the beautiful decorations for the upcoming holidays. She went there with her family, including her parents, siblings and their kids. They all posed for a group photo under a Christmas-decorated architecture.
“Merry Christmas!!” she wrote. “The Smoke Crew.”
She also took a separate photo, involving all her sisters, writing:
“I love them so much.”
Bo Nix and Izzy first met at Auburn University, where Nix was the quarterback of the college football team and Izzy was on the cheerleading squad. What was initially a friendship soon turned into a romantic relationship.
After dating for a few years, Nix and Izzy got engaged in July 2021 at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Auburn’s campus. A year later, the couple tied the knot on July 2, 2022, in Alabama.
After graduating from Auburn, Izzy moved to Eugene, where Nix transferred to play for the Oregon Ducks. After Nix was selected 12th overall by the Broncos in the 2024 NFL draft, Nix shared a heartfelt message on social media:
“The day I met Bo, he told me about this God-sized dream of his. I will never stop praising the Lord for His faithfulness or have enough words to express how proud I am of you, Bo. Overjoyed and honored to join Broncos country!!! 🧡💙 We’ve always loved orange and blue 😉🤭.”

Bo Nix and Izzy Will Soon Welcome New Member To Their Family
Earlier this October, Bo Nix and Izzy announced that they are expecting their first child. Izzy posted a photo on Instagram, where the couple are wandering in a lush green field with the quarterback holding the sonogram photos of their upcoming child.
“Nix party of 3!!! ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.’ Jeremiah 1:5,” Izzy captioned the post.

The couple is awaiting a new chapter in their life. But before that, Nix will help the Broncos do well in their upcoming playoffs.
