One of the more intriguing Week 14 1:00 matchups in the NFL today is the Buffalo Bills hosting the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bills, at 8-4, are in the AFC Playoff picture as a wildcard team and are a few games behind the New England Patriots for the AFC East. The Bengals on the other hand are 4-8 and in third place in the AFC North, and are basically out of of the playoff picture.
Let’s explore some of the best start/sit options for some of the biggest names in Sunday’s Bills-Bengals game:
Should I Start Khalil Shakir?
After signing a four-year contract extension this offseason, Khalil Shakir hasn’t put up jaw-dropping numbers. He has 55 catches for 569 yards and three touchdowns which is solid. He hasn’t had more than one 100-yard game this season. In two of the last three games, Shakir has had five or less receiving yards. We’re going with benching him today.
Should I Start Keon Coleman?
Yes, start Keon Coleman today. Since he’s been inserted back into the Bills’ lineup after being benched for disciplinary reasons, Coleman has been a red zone threat. Coleman has a touchdown reception in each of the last two games and could be coming into his own after being benched and getting a reality check.
Should I Start Chase Brown Or James Cook?
This one is a no-brainer. Start James Cook over Chase Brown. Brown has put it together recently, rushing for 78+ yards in each of the last three games, but hasn’t found the end zone in the last four weeks. Meanwhile, James Cook has had back-to-back 100+ yards rushing games and has scored two touchdowns in the last three games.
Should I Start Joe Burrow Or Josh Allen
Dalton Kincaid is back after a three week hiatus, Coleman seems to be making an impact in the red zone, and Allen has a full supporting cast on offense. This isn’t to say that Burrow can’t have a crazy fantasy game with his targets, we feel as if Allen is the safer start. Allen could also score on the ground today.
