San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk has fans concerned about his future in the league over a recent questionable action. On Saturday, Dec. 20, NFL reporter Ari Meirov uploaded a 19-second clip of Aiyuk on his X/Twitter.
The video shows Aiyuk speeding while driving his sports car near the home arena of coach Kyle Shanahan‘s 49ers, Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. He can also be seen recording himself with one hand while driving with the other. Aiyuk was driving over 90 miles per hour, reaching speeds of up to 104 mph. He also blasted hip-hop music while removing his hands from the steering wheel.
#49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk posted a video of himself driving over 90 MPH past Levi’s Stadium.
The team recently placed Aiyuk on the left squad list, and HC Kyle Shanahan said he hasn’t seen him in a month.

Fans online shared their reactions, and here are some of them:
“First player to get CTE from a leg injury,” one user wrote.
“Earliest case of CTE,” another user said.
“First player to get CTE from a torn ACL,” another shared.
“Buddy was going 102 and I doubt that’s a 65 mph limit road. Just filmed a whole felony and posted it. CTE kicking his a** right now,” a user posted.
“This dude losing it. Forget wanting to be traded, now he tryna go to jail?” one user questioned.
“Driving 90 past the office while ghosting your boss for a month is some generational level of ‘I’m done’ behavior. What’s the endgame here? Does he even want to stay in the league?” another user claimed.
“Do you think players like Aiyuk risk derailing their careers with actions off the field, or can talent outweigh behavior in the NFL?” a user asserted.
Brandon Aiyuk Has Yet To Play A Game In The 2025 NFL Campaign
While he is in his fifth season in the NFL, Brandon Aiyuk has yet to play out a game in the current campaign. This is because he is still recovering from his ACL injury that he suffered in Week 7 of the 2024 season.
With reports flying everywhere of Aiyuk reportedly being distant from the franchise and Shanahan, it seems Aiyuk is nowhere near returning, given his recent actions.
