Pistons vs Warriors Starting Lineups and Depth Charts Tonight (Jan. 30) | 2025-26 NBA Season

The Detroit Pistons visit the Golden State Warriors in Friday’s marquee clash at Chase Center. Detroit enters this matchup after splitting its last four games. The Pistons lost 114-96 against the Phoenix Suns on Thursday. Cade Cunningham and Jalen Duren were the only ones to get going. However, Cunningham struggled from the floor.

Cunningham scored 26 points and dished out seven assists, but made only 8 of his 22 shots. Duren had a solid game, scoring 23 points and grabbing 13 rebounds on 10 of 11 shots. Detroit’s biggest struggle was from 3-point range, as it converted only 6 of its 29 attempts while allowing the Suns to make 16 triples.

Meanwhile, the Warriors are coming off a 2-3 run over five games, but recorded a win in their most recent outing on Wednesday in Utah. They beat the Jazz 140-124 after dominant returns from Steph Curry and other veterans after a one-game absence. Curry scored 27 points on 50.0% shooting from the field, while Moses Moody added 26 on 9 of 15 shots. The bench stood out as five players from the second unit scored in double digits.

27-22 Golden State is a 1.5-point favorite to win Friday’s clash despite an inferior record to the 34-12 Pistons, who lead the East. The Warriors are relatively healthy with no new additions to the existing list of absentees, including Jimmy Butler, Jonathan Kuminga and Seth Curry.

The Pistons also don’t have major concerns, with Tolu Smith and Caris LeVert as the only players on the injury report. Smith is out, while LeVert is day-to-day.
