“Dogs Bark”: Jaden McDaniels’ Girlfriend Allison Audrey Shares Cryptic Message Hours After Timberwolves Star’s Brutal Nuggets Dig

Jaden McDaniels’ girlfriend Allison Audrey posted a cryptic tweet on Tuesday, just hours after the Minnesota Timberwolves forward took a shot at Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets, calling them “bad defenders.”

The Timberwolves fanbase probably swung back and forth on a pendulum of emotions in Game 1 of their Round 1 come-from-behind win over the Nuggets. A disastrous first half saw Minnesota trailing by as many as 19 points and looking down and out of the game. Fortunately, there was plenty of time to catch up. That was indeed the case, as they mounted the second-greatest comeback in Minnesota history, storming back to stun the Nuggets 119-114.

When asked about how the Timberwolves pulled off the win, Jaden McDaniels didn’t hold back as he made a veiled attack on the Nuggets.

“We went right at Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray… all their bad defenders,” he said. “Hardaway, Cam Johnson, Aaron Gordon, their whole team.”

When one reporter followed up, asking, “They’re all bad defenders?” McDaniels didn’t hesitate and went all-in with his comments.

“Yeah, they’re all bad defenders. They don’t have people that can defend the rim, and if Jokic is there, we are more athletic than them, and we just have to be able to finish when we do. Sometimes you have to know when to attack and when it’s your time to shoot or pass. But either way, if you break the paint, you’re going to have a shot, or someone else is going to be open.”

If that wasn’t enough, hours later McDaniels’ girlfriend Allison Audrey added fuel to the fire with a cryptic two-word post on X.

    “Dogs bark!!!!!!!!!!!!,” she wrote.

While it’s unknown what she meant by that, if we had to guess, it could be related to postgame comments. Not only McDaniels, but all of his Timberwolves teammates made quite a bit of noise in their postgame press conference comments.

McDaniels finished Game 2 with 14 points, two rebounds and three assists. He shot 7-15 from the field, including 0-3 from three-point range.

In a series we all thought was going to be back and forth, it’s safe to say Game 2 has certainly lived up to the hype. Clearly, the Timberwolves feel confident as they head back home for Game 3 and Game 4.
