The 2026 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game between Team Giannis and Team Anthony tipped off the weekend’s festivities on Friday. Team Giannis was the early favorite due to the stacked lineup, including former NBA players Tacko Fall and Jeremy Lin, along with reigning Celebrity Game MVP, Rome Flynn.

Team Anthony was on top at the end of the first timeout, taking an 11-4 lead. Team Giannis didn’t take long to respond, going on a 10-5 run to close the quarter. However, they still trailed Team Anthony 16-14 at the end of the first quarter.
The second quarter produced no different results for Team Giannis, as it lost the frame 18-12, despite Tacko Fall recording a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Team Anthony led 34-26 entering halftime.
Team Giannis bounced back with a spectacular third-quarter run, trimming Team Anthony’s lead to one. The Bucks star’s side outscored their opponents 15-8 in that frame. Team Giannis continued its surge in the fourth quarter, winning the game 65-58 after outscoring Team Anthony 24-16 in the final frame.
Rome Flynn won his second consecutive Celebrity All-Star Game MVP, while Tacko Fall and Keenan Allen also had stellar showings.
