    Michigan Takes the Lead for No. 1 In-State Prospect CJ Sadler After Key Visit

    Sadler, who graduated from Detroit’s Cass Tech High School, has received national attention for his exceptional skills on the field. He stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds, and he excels on both offense and defense.

    Sadler led Cass Tech to a state championship as a junior and was voted Michigan High School Football Player of the Year by MaxPreps, with 51 receptions for 1,043 yards and 14 touchdowns.

    His outstanding performance at the Nike Next Ones event solidified his status, earning him the renowned “Alpha Dog” title. Competing against top-tier talent, including five-star cornerbacks, Sadler exhibited vibrant route running, dependable hands, and the ability to generate space.

    Sadler has had a longstanding relationship with Michigan. He was offered a scholarship while still in middle school and has visited Ann Arbor several times, including three games and the annual BBQ at The Big House.

    During these visits, Sadler has highlighted the family culture and close relationships he has formed with the coaching staff, notably wide receivers coach Ron Bellamy.

    Furthermore, Sadler’s relationship with five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood has been significant in his recruiting. The two have known each other for nearly a decade, and Underwood’s dedication to Michigan has positively influenced Sadler’s perspective of the program.
