Bruce Pearl, Auburn University’s head basketball coach, is known not only for his coaching skills but also for his close-knit family, notably his two daughters, Jacqui and Leah. Both sisters have established successful careers and continue to make valuable contributions to their communities.

Jacqui Pearl
Jacqui Pearl is the Executive Director of The Koinonia Foundation, an organization that supports people with disabilities. In July 2022, she planned the first Hoops for Hope AU event at Auburn’s Neville Arena.
The program allowed more than 35 athletes with special needs to participate in basketball activities alongside Auburn’s men’s and women’s basketball teams, establishing an aura of inclusivity and community involvement.
To underline her commitment to social issues, Jacqui named her baby Noa, who will be born in August 2024, after Israeli actress and activist Noa Tohar Tishby. This gesture demonstrates Jacqui’s enthusiasm for Tishby’s advocacy work and reflects the Pearl family’s strong connection to their Jewish heritage.
Leah Pearl
Leah Pearl, sometimes known as Leah Ball, has established herself in the media world as a Talent Coordinator for Turner Sports Broadcasting. Leah, a University of Cincinnati graduate with a Communication degree and a Public Relations certificate, has worked as a dance instructor and multimedia consultant.
Her experience organizing talent for an extensive sports network demonstrates her ability to combine communication abilities with a passion for sports.
In December 2019, Leah and her husband, Stephon Ball, had their first child, Chaya Grace Ball. Bruce Pearl expressed his happiness on social media, celebrating the arrival of his granddaughter just in time for the holidays.
In addition to Jacqui and Leah, Bruce Pearl has two sons, Steven and Michael Pearl. Steven is an assistant coach for Auburn’s basketball team, while Michael, who graduated from Auburn University, works as a kitchen manager at Moe’s.
The Pearl family’s shared successes reflect a common dedication to excellence, community involvement, and the ideals set by their father.
