Head coach Dan Hurley said that UConn has no major injury worries ahead of their matchup against Rick Pitino’s St John’s Red Storm.
The Huskies will return to action on Feb. 23, seeking their second win in their last four games. It has been a difficult last few days for Hurley and his team, but the Huskies head coach insists his team is ready to rock.

No Major Injury Worry for Dan Hurley As UConn Faces St John’s Red Storm
Speaking in his pregame press conference, Hurley said the injury report is the same as the last game, but everyone is ready to go out there and play the game.
“Injury-wise, we go with the same answer I gave the last time. Just typical bumps and bruises, just like every team in the country, Hurley said in the pregame press conference shared on Storrs Central YouTube page.
The Huskies come into the game against St John’s on the back of a win against Villanova on Feb. 18.
However, it was not a straightforward win, with Hurley admitting that his side needs to learn from their mistakes going into the game against St John’s.
“I mean, some of them were just being able to inbound, you know, just being able to get open and inbound the ball. But a lot of the turnovers were trying to drive the baseline when there wasn’t a lot of room there,” Hurley continued.
“You know, kind of sloppy passes to people through the teeth of their defense. The two things that they do that give you problems is inbounding the ball versus very mature, very physical, very tall athletes and then where their ability because they are like really tall, really physical, really athletic one through five,” Hurley added.
UConn’s Revenge Game Against St John’s
The Huskies will go into the game against the Red Storm, seeking revenge after losing to them earlier this season. Hurley’s men were on the receiving end of a 68-62 defeat when both sides met on Feb. 7.
