It is always interesting to see who college basketball fans have chosen to win the NCAA Tournament. But when a former U.S. President makes a bracket, it is definitely worth chatting about.

    President Obama’s March Madness Bracket

The 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, has created one of the country’s most intriguing brackets.

Aside from picking No. 10 seed Utah State to beat No. 7 seed UCLA, No. 11 seed North Carolina to beat No. 6 seed Ole Miss, and No. 11 seed VCU to stump No. 6 seed BYU, he doesn’t have many major upsets picked in the first round.

However, he does have No. 5 seed Clemson beating No. 1 seed Houston in the Sweet 16.

The Chicago native has paid attention to this college basketball season closely because he also has four SEC teams in the Elite Eight.

Obama also has three No. 1 seeds making it to the Final Four: Auburn, Florida, and Duke, with No. 2 seed Tennessee coming out of the Midwest Region.

In the end, he has the Duke Blue Devils winning it all over the No.1 seed Florida Gators.

    President Obama Continues the Trend

This year’s tournament bracket is interesting because it has given fans the opportunity to make safe picks.

Whether it is somebody like the former President of the United States or other college basketball analysts, there continues to be a trend of safe picks.

Duke, Florida, and Auburn appear to be among the common favorites to reach the Final Four.

Additionally, it doesn’t appear that fans are inclined to pick many major upsets in the first or second round of the tournament.

Not many people believe No. 15 seed Nebraska-Omaha can upset No. 2 seed St. John’s or No. 16 seed Norfolk State can beat Florida, but this is exactly why March Madness is incredible.

If an upset does occur, it is likely one that few people will see coming. It is part of the inevitability of this tournament.
