College Basketball Player Props Today: Nick Kern Jr.’s Point Total Offers Betting Opportunity

While the Thursday night slate isn’t as loaded as a few other days this week, there are plenty of games, including four high-major games in DraftKings’ main slate. Finding good college basketball player props can be hard. Luckily, we’re here to help.

Which players do we expect to exceed expectations, and are there any discrepancies in the market that you can take advantage of? Find out our best college basketball player props for the Thursday slate.

Best College Basketball Best Player Props Today

In the interest of hitting all three main player-based entities (PrizePicks/Underdog, DFS, and traditional player props), I’m limiting these player props to the main games of the day. While there are 58 games Thursday, most are mid and low-major games, with only four games involving high-major or ranked teams.

Here are my favorite college basketball player props for the Thursday slate.

Kasparas Jakucionis Over 22.5 Points + Rebounds (-106)

Superstar guard Kasparas Jakucionis burst onto the scene this season and has averaged 15.6 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. In Big Ten play though, the freshman has raised the bar. He’s passed this number in three of the four Big Ten road games for which he’s been healthy.

I was tempted to take Jakucionis’ over 17.5 points (At +100 odds on FanDuel) but I think the combined points + rebounds is safer, as Nebraska struggles to rebound the ball and Jakucionis tends to make an impact in close games.

Nate Bittle Over 6 Rebounds (PrizePicks)

There’s a pretty significant discrepancy in the markets here and I want to take advantage. PrizePicks has Bittle’s rebounding total at six, while the rest of the market has it at seven. That’s a significant difference as you can get this for essentially even-money (depending on what you pair it with) for a number DraftKings lists at -200 odds.

FanDuel is typically the sharp here, and even they have the over/under at even money for 6.5 rebounds. If you’re feeling particularly bold, you can middle here by taking 6+ on PrizePicks and Under 6.5 on FanDuel

I prefer to take the safer 6+ rebounds as UCLA is struggles on the defensive glass and Bittle is likely to get a few offensive boards.

Nick Kern Over 13.5 Points (-110)

There’s a huge difference in Nick Kern’s point totals on the two main betting sites. DraftKings has Kern at -120 to have 15+ points, while FanDuel sets his over/under at 13.5 and leans to the under (-120 to be under 13.5).

Everywhere else seems to have his total closer to 14.5 than 13.5, so I want to take advantage of the one site that’s different. Of course, it doesn’t hurt our case that he’s scored 16+ in four of five games.
