The Crimson Tide had a day to forget on Monday night, as they were handed their fifth defeat of the season. This was their second consecutive loss, and it most likely ended their chance of winning the SEC regular-season title.
Nate Oats Loses His Head As Alabama Sit on the Brink
It was a disappointing day for the whole team as they put on a defensive disaster class in the loss. While the team did score 98, the defense was nowhere to be found, giving up 110 points in the process.
This performance led to Oats airing his frustration by smashing his white tactical board during the game. The moment, which was captured on camera, got fans talking on social media, with some finding it entertaining.

“That clipboard was just in the wrong place at the wrong time,” a fan said.
“Such a CLASSY GUY!!!” another fan said.
“If Dan Hurley did this, you would talk about this for days and say how this is bad for the game,” another mentioned.

“He couldn’t find an opposing player to push so he had to punch the clipboard,” another fan said.

Crunch Time for Nate Oats’ Alabama
The loss to the Tigers put Alabama in a tough spot as it was their fifth defeat of the season, dropping to 21-5.
It also pushes them outside the top three in the national ranking and to third in the Southeastern division behind the Florida Gators and the Auburn Tigers.
