The award, named after former Wake Forest head coach Skip Prosser, acknowledges the men’s ACC scholar-athlete of the year.
Established in the fall of 2007, the ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award recognizes the finest junior or senior student-athlete in each sport.
Raynaud’s performance in the 2023-24 season was nothing short of amazing. He averaged 15.5 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game, earning him the Pac-12 Most Improved Player title and selection to the All-Pac-12 second team.
His shooting accuracy was impressive, with a field goal percentage of 56.7% and a three-point shooting rate of 36.1% on roughly two attempts each game.
Raynaud’s impact went beyond scoring. He ranked third in the Pac-12 for rebounding and had 12 double-doubles this season. His defensive presence was fearsome, with career-best in blocks and steals, demonstrating his versatility and value to the Cardinal defense.
Raynaud is a double major in computer science and mathematics. Although both of those majors are very stringent, Raynaud consistently achieves high grades while remaining actively involved in the Stanford community.
His dedication to his studies, combined with his sporting commitments, reflects the real spirit of a scholar-athlete.
