While Kansas State’s season has not gone exactly as planned, head coach Jerome Tang wants the school’s fan base to show up and show out for the team when they welcome the last-place Colorado Buffaloes Sunday, March 2.

Jerome Tang Needs the Wildcat Nation
Despite being 13-15 overall and even after coming off a loss against the 15-13 UCF Knights, Tang and his team are looking for the Kansas State students to come support them this weekend.
Tang spoke about that after the team’s loss to UCF on Wednesday night.
“We’re not good enough without our fans, so I need our students at the game…I’m asking our students to show up.”

It is time to see how truly loyal the Kansas State fanbase is, as their men’s basketball team has now lost four games in a row and is sitting at a conference record of just 7-10.
Even though this team is not likely to receive an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, Tang and Co. are still looking to finish the regular season on a strong note.
The Wildcats’ Postseason Outlook
Again, at 13-15 overall, the Wildcats don’t look to be going to the NCAA Tournament via an at-large bid simply because their portfolio just isn’t good enough.
While the team did beat Kansas and Arizona in back-to-back games earlier this month, the consistency just has not been there this year.
That being said, they could always get hot in the Big 12 Tournament and go on some kind of run. Remember, if you win your conference tournament, you receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

If Tang’s team can beat Kansas and Arizona in back-to-back games, it could have the potential to beat anybody at any point. But this is a team that also lost to one of the conference’s bottom-dwellers in Arizona State, so you don’t quite know what you are getting each game.
The Wildcats have three more games left before they have to take the court in the Big 12 Tournament. If they were to win those three games, they could be heating up just in time for some magic in March.
